The international blog Wiwibloggs.com which covers anything related to the Eurovision song contest has commissioned a survey asking people who their preferred choice to represent Malta this year will be. Destiny seems to be the most popular, whilst the group Faith trails right behind her.
The XFactor Malta live show began this weekend, this followed the auditions, bootcamp and other challenges. Twelve acts will face the crowd at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre, hoping to impress both the home viewers and the judging panel.
Destiny Chukunyere, who already represented Malta in the junior Eurovision received 784 votes, giving her 29.07% of the total vote in from this survey.
Destiny Chukunyere, born on the 29 August 2002, is a Maltese singer from Birkirkara, Malta. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, where she represented Malta with the song “Not My Soul”, and in 2017 she participated in series 11 of Britain’s Got Talent and finished 6th in the Semi-Final.
In 2019, Chukunyere appeared in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 as the Maltese entrant, Michela Pace’s backing singer for her song, “Chameleon”. The song qualified for the final, finishing in 14th place with 107 points.

In second place was the five-piece girl group Faith. They followed closely behind with 584 votes or 21.65% of all votes.

Third place went to Jasmine Abela. Her current stint on the X Factor saw her take 289 votes or 10.72% of the vote.

However it is still too early to say what will happen as things could change once the acts are put through their paces in the live shows, reported the international Blog.
Up to this point, the contestants have had the comfort of performing on pre-recorded shows. But now they’ll be facing not just the pressures of live television, but also the sold-out MFCC audience.
The top 6 of the favourites, as listed in the survey are as follows:
